I have a varied palette for coffee in that I like nearly all roasts and flavors. This is an excellent darker roast blend. I grind my own beans. This blend has a wonderful buttered toast smell post grind with no "skunky" notes you find when grinding some very dark roasts. I also like a strong cup and enjoy the full flavor of this blend. If you normally drink the softer beans offered at the local orange sign shop and want to dip your toe in dark roast this is a great choice. If you're a green sign place drinker this will satisfy you.
