Our Sumatra Mandheling is brought to a degree darker than that of our full city and Viennese Roast, resulting in our ever popular French Roast. The caramel notes of a regular Sumatra Mandheling carry over, but are intensified to a syrupy finish that's balanced with the earthiness of an Indonesian coffee. Lowest in acidity, strong, bold, and decadent -coffee enthusiasts rejoice!
One of the world's prized coffees, it is grown in the highlands of northern Sumatra in the Malay Archipelago of Indonesia. The plantations grow coffee trees at altitudes up to 5,000 feet and use a combination of wet and dry processing methods. The term Mandheling refers to the name of the people who traditionally farmed and processed the coffee bean.
Much thanks to Armsby Abbey for serving this deliciousness. First coffee I ever enjoyed the taste of and it didn’t mess up my sensitive stomach!
Armeno Roasters are so kind too with recommendations and giving samples to try. I am so glad I found them.
Each bag I got was super fresh. Definitely be ordering more.
I’ve tried many of the beans and haven’t met one that wasn’t great. I do keep coming back to my go to blend. Just can’t start the day without it.
I am so happy that I found this coffee company! The coffee is bold and smooth at same time. Ordering online is easy and it gets delivered to my door quickly.
I’ve been getting my coffee from Armeno for years and years. While usually stick to my favorite I will check out other brews from time to time. I also give Armeno coffee for gifts to friends and family.
