All Kenya coffee is graded in terms of bean size with AA being the largest and finest. Our full city roasted Kenya AA beans produce a medium bodied, snappy cup, with a pronounced, high acidity and blackberry aftertaste. Almost wine-like in flavor. We prefer to buy small lots that are available with the farm name intact on the bag.
There are a few coffees that fit our flavor profile, and all of them happen to be African - Tanzania, Kenya (AA and Peaberry), and Ethiopia. It must be the fact that coffee was invented here. I have found that each bean potentially requires its own grind for french press, so I'm in the process of capturing those details so I don't need to figure it out when I'm rotating through bags.
Kenya AA is my everyday coffee. The Full City roast is excellent for these beans and Armeno's does it with tremendous consistency. All Armeno coffee's are fantastic.
I’ve been a loyal customer for many years. Kenya AA is my choice. John roasts the beans to perfection. Chuck is the best. My son now buys from Armeno’s via mail and is a solid customer. You won’t find a better place to buy coffee.
Really enjoyed this coffee, and on my list for another purchase. First time I tried out Armeno coffee, so close to where I live.. Feel that I have missed out on a local gem, but Im going back.
