This family owned estate is not only highly committed to producing great coffee, but also strengthening their local community and implementing sustainable, eco-friendly practices. Their operations are partially powered by natural gas created from fermented coffee cherries!

Done to a classic Full City (light roast) level, this bean offers a mild body and luxurioussilky mouthfeel. Expect notes of stone fruit and pomegranate, plus a hint of sweetness thanks to the red honey method (keeping the coffee cherry around the seed for a certain amount of time) used to process the beans.

Brew it strong and leave out the sweetener...

So this is a very pleasant cup of coffee. I am a "1 sugar" coffee person, or black if it has a noticeably enjoyable flavor profile. This coffee falls into the "drink it black" category. Brew yourself a strong cup and try it black. If you only lightly sweeten your coffee this will surprise you black. You're going to wonder how it can be that black coffee can taste so sweet...but it does. I don't mean candy sweet...just a subtle sweet combined with low tang...The light roast compliments this. There's a minimal "buttery toast" nose to it. That's one of my favorite aspects of the lighter roasts. There's no char stepping on the brighter fruit notes. I grind whole beans and notices these beans grind a little "fluffy" (more volume to the ground coffee at the same grind setting) so you might adjust your volume used (I use an aeropress)
