Sumatra Takengon Fair Trade French Roast

Our Sumatra Takengon Fair Trade French is farmed in the district of Takengon around Lake Tawar in Indonesia. This area is Fair Trade certified, meaning our Sumatra Takengon coffees are sustainably farmed and are processed under fair labor conditions. We roast the Sumatra Takengon bean at a higher degree resulting in a French Roast. Sumatra Takengon FT French is the darkest Fair Trade coffee we carry. The brown sugar notes are caramelized resulting in a coffee that is both syrupy, rich and low in acidity. Expect a flowery and earthy finish.
