The darkest roast you will find at Armeno, our Sumatra Mandheling beans are notably lower in acidity and when Italian roasted become heavily bodied, incredibly bold and to full caramelization. Taste the bean, not the burn is our motto and that's evident with our darkest roast. 

Sumatra Mandheling is one of the world's prized coffees, it is grown in the highlands of northern Sumatra in the Malay Archipelago of Indonesia. The plantations grow coffee trees at altitudes up to 5,000 feet and use a combination of wet and dry processing methods.

Flavorful Coffee

Sumatra Mandheling Italian Roast has become our favorite coffee due to its rich, bold taste. We have tried other blends but nothing compares to it. While my husband only drinks hot coffee, I find that the Sumatra Mandheling is delicious iced, as well as hot. I have recommended this coffee to family and friends.

We spend the winter in Tucson but are still able to get fresh roasted Italian Roast from Armeno. You people are the best. See you in the spring.

Great for cold brew

First time having the Sumatra Mandheling in Italian roast. I’ve always done a French roast. This might be my favorite coffee from Armeno. Incredibly smooth!

Best Fresh coffee beans

Best fresh coffee beans I've found in New England since Coffee Connection was bought out by Starbucks-(not a fan of- acidic coffee) and the staff and service is impeccable- I’ve only gotten my coffee there since I found it about 25 years ago-
