This Kenya estate coffee was recognized during a cupping competition for having a particularly excellent Kenya AA bean! Located in Nyeri, Kenya, on the slopes of Mt. Kenya, the Ndaroini estate hand-sorts and weighs their coffee cherries before pulping and soaking them in fermentation tanks for 24 hours. The cherries are then dried on raised beds for 2-3 weeks & hand sorted again before being prepared for export.
Done to a full city (light) roast, expect a bright finish thanks to it's high acidity and a medium body. Surprisingly sweet, with notes of lime, cranberry and butterscotch.
